The kids and I took a huge van load full of things for the Goodwill last week. The girls wanted to check out what was there so we headed in after the drop off to check it out. Can you believe I found this adorable lamp. And guess how much. Only 2.99. What a steal and the lightbulb inside even worked! What a bargain!

Fathers Day

What great weather we had for Fathers Day. We got to go to my mom's house for dinner and we were joined by my sister and her family. It is always fun going to nanas as she has a pond in her front yard and the kids have fun catching frogs and going out on the kayak. There was a family of geese that were there with 6 "teenage goslings". Nana's gardens and landscaping always make for a great backdrop like the photos in this post.

If all goes smoothly with our move and all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed this little guy is in for another big change and I hope our move does not scare him or make him feel insecure in any way. The girls seem to be pretty excited about moving as they have cousins they are close in age to that live there. I will watch for signs of any distress but I am somewhat confident he is so well adjusted that he will go with the flow. He truly trusts Jeffrey and I and his sisters, but I'm not sure if he comprehends what the concept of a move entails. I am lucky enough to be able to take some time off from the teaching profession to help the kiddos adjust to their new environment and I will get to spend a year with Will before he enters Kindergarten. :) That was even hard to type. Kindergarten next year? hmmmmmm maybe I'll start him when he is 6:) instead of 5!

New House

If all goes well with the sale of our home, this is the new home we will be making memories in when we move to NC. We had an offer on our house yesterday after our first offer fell through when the buyer backed out. We are hoping all goes well this time around and we can have a smooth transition to this new chapter in our lives. Keep your fingers crossed for us!!!!!

Muscle man

Will has been loving the start of summer. He loves having his sisters home and the activities we all do together. Here he is on our swing set showing off his muscles! Will turns 4 in one week. It is kind of weird having my baby be 4 already. He still gives me glimpses of his early years with things he does such as being drawn to water in peculiar places and drinking it. Not sure if this is from his past or just a toddler boy thing, but he likes to pee outside. I have to stop that habit, but haven't had much luck. Will continues to bless us with is happy go lucky outlook on life and his drop dead smile. He is one very loved almost 4 year old!!!
